Meet our Founder, Ellen Jones
I set up Pansy Studios because I could see there was a better way of doing things, and, frankly, because I'm very good at helping people.
As an author and campaigner, I've spent years learning how to get a message across: how to make people listen, how to say difficult things clearly, and how to bring people with you rather than lose them. That's exactly what good marketing needs.
I'm also very good at stopping people getting in their own way. Most of the organisations I meet don't need more ideas. They need someone to cut through the noise, tell them honestly what's working and what isn't, and help them focus on what will actually make a difference. That's where I come in.
My work has been recognised by Stonewall, who named me Young Campaigner of the Year, and by MTV, whose inaugural EMA Generation Change Award I received. I've been listed among the Evening Standard's Most Influential People in London and Attitude's 101 LGBTQ+ Trailblazers, and in 2025 I was named on the Independent's Top 50 LGBTQ+ People and the Diversity Power List. My debut book, Outrage (Bluebird, Pan Macmillan), was a Foyles Top 10 Book, a Bookshop.org bestseller and the Booksellers Association's Book of the Month.
